EUDR GeoJSON error: coordinates out of range, latitude and longitude swapped
TRACES expects longitude first, then latitude, in WGS 84. How to spot out-of-range or swapped coordinates in an EUDR plot file, free.
What the EU Information System expects
Coordinates are WGS 84 decimal degrees, longitude first, then latitude. Latitude must stay within ±90 and longitude within ±180; values outside are rejected.

Fix it by hand
Check the order of the two numbers in each pair. A swapped pair can also stay within range and put the plot in another country, which a format check alone does not catch.
Fix it automatically
The checker rejects out-of-range values and, for thirty producing countries, flags any point that falls outside the declared country, saying whether it falls inside once longitude and latitude are swapped.

Why this checker
- It repairs what can be repaired, instead of only listing errors.
- The file never leaves your computer.
- Your supplier can check and fix their own file, then send it with a SHA-256 certificate.
- Each checked file comes with a TRACES filing sheet, and the 6 steps up to the reference number.
